Honestly I’m not lying, I can’t start digging old threads just to prove a point, you can do so if you want . When I came on Nairaland is when I started seeing tribal bigotry and to be sincere it was the Igbos from this platform calling out Yorubas and Hausas , words like

“ Aafonja, Yoruba, Hausa Fulani slave etc , these words were shocking to me , the first insult I received from NL was from an Igbo guy , he called me Anumanu for erring my opinion.

Everything was calm from that 2017 because the bashing was coming from one side , but I noticed from 2019 -2020 till date Yorubas And Hausas started playing the same game that’s why everywhere is full of ethnic slurs. I don’t have anything against your tribe but to be sincere if you don’t support their opinion you’re in trouble.
Lastly you’re different from most of them by now both of us would be throwing insults ,
If I’m lying try engage an Igbo guy , act neutral and see the difference with other tribes.

I'm an igbo bro, I will say this all Nigerians are tribalistic. It's just simple my pain is that politicians are using it to distract us from dealing with their atrocities against our nation. For igbos after the 1966 anti - igbo massacre and biafran war, they've lost hope in Nigeria and I don't blame them because from then till now igbos have been treated as saboteurs, 2nd class citizen and money lovers.
So most resort to insults to display their anger against the wickedness of other tribes. While other tribes have been nurtured to hate them, they've been taught that the sole purpose of an igbo in their land is like a jew ;to take over their resources and women which is just wack. Also on the religious aspect too, igbos(mostly southerners) are mostly christains while the hausa and other tribes up north are Muslims of which the two are in constant conflicts.
I'm not a fan of using insults or hating my fellow man because of tribe. I simply hate those that are wicked, callous and hypocritic.i will chose a competent Yoruba man or hausae man over my tribes man any day any time.

Igbo started the massacre in 1966, you need to study history . the younger Igbo generation were told one side of the story .
They started the war , all is fair In war .
If Igbo had the opportunity to massacre Nigeria they would.

Igbos, always shy away from the fact that they massacred people from south /south which they’ve power over .

No tribe hates the Igbos more than the way they hate other tribes.

The wrong side of the civil war told to them by the older generation have damaged the present generation now , making them hate everyone.

The Igbo elders need to come out and outline the real cause of the civil war , say it as it is so the wrong notion of Nigeria killed 3m of them will be eliminated, this will reduce the animosity Igbos have against Nigeria, that’s the root of the problem.
Or secondly we all just need to forget and let love lead .
