More like don't ask me dumbo questions

grin

You're as dumb as Umayi himself, do you think this is funny, a Minister avoiding critical question and forming I need an interpreter and saying you're not the one to approve it but the Federal Government, misplaced priorities.

How did she rattle him?

She asked a question and he responded. He made a joke and that was interpreted as rattling?

Arise News may need to explain if their interest is for the public good or they are seeking to protect their client.

The angst against the project by Arise News journalists and aspiring journalists is reminiscent of the same Arise News supporting Emefiele's manipulating of the naira to scuttle someone's ambition. It also reminds us of their proprietor attacking the presidential candidate of one party to interfere in elections because the candidate refused to attend his PR debates in his station for PDP or allow himself to be interviewed by his obviously biased media outlet.

Let us also remember that this same Arise News did not give any media coverage to the arrest of Godwin Emefiele, who is from the same area as the owner of Arise News. The running mate of the candidate in the PDP also came from the same area.

The sudden posturing for public probity is suspect.

Arise News, what is your interest in this matter? Did this guy pay you for PR against the government?

Am sure you were drunk or high on colos when you typed this rubbish.

Save this video people. I have a gut feeling that this question she is asking now will later be an issue when the Emilokan's tenure is over.

He wasn’t rattled.
He was just trying to be funny. I even think he liked the lady. Most men are like that. They turn into comedians when they are confronted with beautiful ladies they like. I don’t blame him though, the Lady is beautiful!

This is a press conference that will be watched all over the world by interested parties, and a minister of the federal republic is responding to a question like he's addressing motor park louts.

These are the problems.

I admire Umahi and his efforts but he's still a part of the problem.

When you trivialize every issue or moment that has the potential to affect lives, especially as Nigeria stands now; then, you're part of the problem.

Instead of him to address the question, he chose to turn it into a comic session/relief.
What's even "phoney" about the girl's speech pattern?

She sounded strongly feminine, bold and smart.

That's commendable and attributes which some of our journalist turned journey men politicians like Abike lacked at her age when all she did was cover any first lady's pet project.

Underperforming public officials fear the press and try to boycott it, while those actively performing are using the press to their advantage. We know what side he is tongue

Yes, oooh
Those who breach Due process can't respond such questions due to it's technicality but would wait for political adviser input.

undecided

And this country sent hundreds of people to COP28.

It is obvious that absolutely nothing was gained by this country from that conference.

Umahi's response on this matter was shockingly poor. An EIA is a big deal.

BAT makes a big show of seeking FDI and loans all over the globe. Doesn't his administration know that EIAs are prerequisites to projects these days? undecided
