In Nigeria when the supreme Court make a pronouncement irrespective of the rigging and manipulations in an elections since it's a decided case it is assumed the electoral cycle is concluded and that does not change the facts that the elections was heavily manipulated.

Furthermore, contesting an elections also leads to modifications of our electoral laws since most of the laws will be contested to know it's validity and wether it is mine with section 1 sub section 3 of the 1999 constitution as amended. This has led to repeal of our electoral laws to create a better version.
