DMerciful: You are missing my point |
Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by nairalanda1(m): 8:00am On May 02 |
DMerciful: First, the screenshots are from the price index called West texas intermediate...which is for crude sold within the USA The chart you should be using is the Brent crude oil chart which is screenshotted below. Pay attention from the year 2000 onwards.(Source here) As you can see, prices were higher than 100 dollars under GEJ. Above 110 dollars even. They fell after 2014 But my point, which you miss is, our reliance on crude oil leaves our economy vulnerable. Which is why all our leaders are not good enough for Nigeria. 1 Like

helinues:WhIch forward have you move to since 2015. Nigeria has not only be stagnant since 2015 but have been moving backward |
Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:23am On May 02 |
DMerciful: I am talking of our dying reserves and ECA. I am talking of our debt growing. These happened under GEJ's watch despite selling crude oil at a high price. The GDP looked good because he had billions of dollars left by OBJ to fall back on to pump into the economy. The man is a Capital failure. Finito. 1 Like |

helinues: GEJ is forward! APC and their zombie minions have taken the country backward to the days of slavery! We need to move this country forward.. GEJ is a better candidate 1 billion times to Tinubu. The stats are there for everyone including zombies to see!! |

You're looking at the wrong data. Look at the indices of development, the before and after TheGoodJoe: |
Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by TheGoodJoe(m): 9:14am On May 02 |
DMerciful: What is wrong data? GEJ needed the billions from ECA and reserves left by OBJ and increasing rising cost of Crude to have that minute indices of development. Without these, he would have been as bad as APC. He is a failure. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by DMerciful(m): 9:21am On May 02 |
GEJ total borrowing was about 10 trillion, Buhari was about 77 trillions so what are you talking about? How much did Obj left as reserve? GEJ was part of Yaradua's govt TheGoodJoe:

Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by TheGoodJoe(m): 4:35pm On May 02 |
DMerciful: Obasanjo built it from $5b to $43b. With less price and quantity than GEJ. Yaradua built our reserves from $43 to $62b Failure GEJ crashed it from $62 to $28b despite selling higher quantity of crude ar a higher price. You can see the man is a failure. Stop suffocating us with failures. 2 Likes |

GEJ was part of yaradua govt infact probably headed the economic council as vp. He was instrumental in the amnesty program that let to stability of crude export. He left about $30 billion reserve and $2.4 billion eca. He made Nigeria the largest economy in Africa and 3rd fastest growing economy in the world. You guys brought APC out of spite because GEJ made Igbos the managers of the economy. The economy has fallen by 50% in 9yrs! Meanwhile, crude is selling higher now than entire Obj time TheGoodJoe: |

Re: 2027: Bring Back Goodluck Jonathan by TheGoodJoe(m): 5:18pm On May 02 |
DMerciful: He left $30 after meeting $60b and selling crude at insane prices. Summary. He is a failure. Stop throwing Yaradua as his government. GEJ had a chance as commander in chief and ran the country down. Small drop in Oil price and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala.tpld us to prepare for harder times. If not the money OBJ left, Goodluck would have been another Buhari or Tinubu. Finito. 1 Like
