Fuel selling for N1,000+, this is the time for Nigerians to call for mass protest. Enough is Enough!!!
@Arewaatwitter
@Waspapping BEFORE 2020:
Islam doesn’t permit protest. We were wrong to go about it that way

@waspapping NOW 2024
This one year under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the worst year in the history of any government in this country. I'm surprised there are no protests happening in any part of the country regarding the current hardships.

No electricity. No water. No fuel. No affordable food. It's astonishing that the President is getting away with all of this without facing any protests

At this moment, it's crucial for Nigerians to join forces & challenge this government. Let's set aside tribal and religious differences & tackle our shared adversary together.

Disappointingly, we find ourselves more divided than ever, playing right into the hands of our leaders

We cannot keep leaving everything to God.

When Nigerians are tired, they'll look for a way out. This country cannot continue like this. It's literally impossible for Nigerians to continue living this way. The suffering is at an all-time high, and the leaders and the rich don't care because it doesn't affect them.

Don't you think you are way worse than the arewatwitter or waspapping dude?

I hope you can one day pause, take a break from this site, come back in a few days, review your posts and comments, and then ask yourself if you are really patriotic to the country you claim you love so much.

Were you being patriotic when you defended Buhari for 8 years in office while he was misruling the country you claim to love?

Are you one of those fake lovers of Nigeria who only claim to love it when your own is ruling, even if they’re destroying the country?

The security operatives won't even allow them to start the protest before they start picking their organizers. If the organizers are made scapegoats, others go calm down.

Patriotism Definition:

Along with love, patriotism is the feeling of pride, devotion, and attachment to a homeland, as well as a feeling of attachment to other patriotic citizens. The feelings of attachment may be further bound up in factors like race or ethnicity, culture, religious beliefs, or history.

Irrespective of who you vote or voted for, the love for your country/homeland should be your priority, not the individual.

Again, elections have come and gone. We gain nothing speaking ill of our leaders. Every chance and opportunity you get, you denigrate the country. How dare you call yourself a patriot then? You say you only post those things coz things are not being done right, but yet you refuse to acknowledge or give kudos when they get some policies right. How is that patriotic?

Criticism is always welcomed, but it should be constructive, not insults. Constructive criticism would keep the people in power on their feet.

Looking back to your posts (OP), you are only visible when "you think" things are not going as expected but then go missing when there are positive reports. Does that still make you a patriot?

This is democracy. Every citizen has a right to vote for the candidate(s) of their choice. You voted Obi, some other voted Atiku, while some other voted Tinubu. Tinubu was declared the winner of that election. Even though we all agree the election wasn't 100% perfect, but we have a winner. The major contenders went to court, all the way up to the Supreme Court, but they all lost, and Tinubu was still declared the winner.

Note, this was the same process Obi used in reclaiming his seat as a governor back then. So, it means Obi believed and have faith in the sanctity of the Supreme Court, hence his reason for taking his case up to the highest court in the land. After the Supreme court ruling, it basically means everything relating to election is done and dusted, and the next phase should be governance.

I find it hard to believe people are still stuck in campaign/election mode. I see different comments about " Tinubu is not my president", "The certificate forger", the drug baron" etc. This makes me laugh hard. I don't know if people are just doing this for the likes or something, but it's a joke taken too far if people actually believe their own delusions.

Tinubu is the current occupier of the "Office of the President of Nigeria" and that's the fact that people need to face. Respect the office of the president of Nigeria, not the individual occupying that office.

One advice for you and the OP - Do not trust any politician, NONE... They are all of questionable character, except for a few. Now just so you know, none of the candidates that contested the 2023 general election (presidential) is an exception to the questionable character I talked about. Why call your own candidate a "saint" and others the "devil"?

Tinubu forfeited some money to the US government on a drug case, but he wasn't convicted of drug related or any charges at all.

Atiku was severally accused of stealing public funds, both as a custom officer and as the VP. No arrests and no conviction.

Obi admitted to hiding funds in a tax haven country. He was also accused of being caught with a large amount of money in cash. No arrests and no conviction.

My question now is, why do you call Tinubu a "drug dealer" (not convicted), Atiku a "thief" (no record of arrest/conviction), and Obi a "saint" (no record of arrest/conviction). This doesn't make any logical sense.

If we must call Tinubu a "drug dealer", Atiku a "thief", I think it's fair game to call Obi a "fraudster" or a "thief".

What other reason would Obi hide is funds in a tax heaven - either to evade taxes both in Nigeria and the UK or that it was a stolen money that he stashed in a secret/offshore account. Any businessman or individual trying to evade tax is a fraudster. You are defrauding the government by filing false tax returns.

Again, we should strive to wish the best for the nation, irrespective of who occupies it.
