No mind am, their own na just to ridicule their country, even if things doesn't work as it should condemnation shouldn't be the next option, not too long ago, the Belarusian govt still purchased proforce military vehicles from here, whereas that doesn't stop us from purchasing their drones

You don't really have to involve yourself in Wars that doesn't concern you and if a World war break our, we act like during WW2 by staying off

What can the WARTHOG do that the Super tucano cant?? maybe speed alone I guess. Super tucano looks like a toy to you and many more Nigerians but not when it comes to Action.

Day, Night or Midnight my all in one super tucano is ever ready to give an 85% accurate precise strike at Insurgents. So what else can you ask for as a Raptor??

Firstly the Warthog is a dedicated CAS platform,it beats the super Tucano is all area,it has greater firepower with its Gatlin guns,it has greater loiter time than the Tucano, it has greater munitions payload capacity than the Tucano, the Warthog parhaps is the ideal platform we need for our COIN ops.

This fighter doesn't look like it can take on the F16 that the Danish airforce recently decommissioned....

We are still very far behind in our airforce....

F16 jet is the best jet with the least mantainance and fly-away cost, Israeli airforce success in the early 21st century even to this day is not without kudos to this incredible machine, imagine the devastation it could have wrecked on terrorists if we acquired it. This cheap chineses toy is as good as useless at this point in time, the Tucano jets we acquired serves a better purpose considering our fight against terrorism. The purchase of this jets can only mean defence ministry is a mediocre or another oppurtunity to steal from the common wealth of Nigeria is being utilized, we are expensively servicing war machines that are defenceless against external attacks because some people wanted their own share of the spoil of corruption.

The Question is what do we need ah F-16 for?? It's not bout acquiring Aircrafts cuz you want to feel sophisticated. what threats are we being faced or will face in the future to acquire an F-16? how bout the weekly & monthly cost of maintaining something you don't really use
Re: Chengdu F-7NI: Nigeria's Fastest Fighter Jet by Arthur02(m): 4:43pm On May 03
So NIGERIA have aircrafts? And they are pampering the terrorists.

But the US wouldn't sell to us and they also dictates what typa jets we get from them, how we get them and how we should use them. Nigeria got not choice but to turn to who's ready to sell. China.

Small Tucano sef, the US had to go construct the less standard of what they have and use and are still dictating how we use the Tucano.

You really cannot imagine how frustrating it is and Nigeria couldn't stay Jetless

You Don't wait for Evils to Strike before you beefed up your arsenal ... Our Pilot need to be trained in Advance Warfare .. Where do all of una come from sef ....

Imagine China not Advancing her military wares can she turn down requests from US without "Consequences" ....

If you don't have kuraku nobody will respect you among the league of Nation ...

Pilot that has never handle big machine before & a Nation that has never experienced big tools before would ever be ignorant about contemporary warfare because we would be stuck to world war II war tactics ......

We should possessed all Military Equipments Possessed by US & Lord Over The Entire Subsaharan Africa .... If You Don't have what it takes, You can never advanced & You will always be a Puppet to be used & Abused !

Nigerian Problem is Beyond Nigerian Leaders other than they(Our leaders) having their own Immaturities.... We need to start purchasing then learning to build our own ....

It is a steep learning curve for us but with commitments we shall get there ....

Nigeria is that country that can rescue the black Humanities from Themselves if well strategised !
purchase heavy weapons for what reason? One unit of some of this heavy fighter jets cost around $300- $600 million. Those countries that manufacture them will not even sell them to Nigeria. Are will fighting war? You don't acquire heavy weapons because you want to acquire them or because you have the money, you acquire weapons when you are threatened. Fighter Jets, attack helicopters, fright war, missiles etc are not something you get on showroom, you place order for them, it takes 3-5 years before manufacturing and delivery, the government manufacturing them will still need to approve whether to sell or not. Those countries buying weapons are those that are in war or see threat from neighboring countries that share borders.

What I expect you to say is Nigeria like South Africa and Brazil who are not threaten by neighbord should be manufacturing weapons and sell to outsiders to create jobs and increase revenue for the country.

United States see China, Russia and North Korea as threat, so these countries need to buy and build their military industries.

NATO see Russia as threat, so they need to build their military industries.

North Korea see South Korea and Japan as threat, so they need to build their military industries.

Iran, Syria and Lebanon see Israel as threat, Israel also see Iran as threat.

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco see Iran as threat because of shi'at hegemony in the region.

Nigeria like her neighboring countries see no one as a threat, so there is no reason for buying heavy weapons.

With the right diplomatic approach, we could get the American f16 or the Sweden jas gripen jets but Nigerian politicians are always motivated by their own interests
