Njikoka Council Boss, Hon. Aguiyi Flags Off The 8th Major Rural Road Project By Philanthropists In Nawfia.

As efforts aimed at encouraging and motivating critical stakeholders in community development as well as working assiduously towards localizing the solution agenda in Anambra State, the transition committee chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Hon. Clem's Aguiyi has flagged off the construction of 1 kilometer road by Engr Joe Enweluzo at Nawfia in Njikoka local government area of Anambra State.

The Engineer Joe Enweluzo road which is a Private - Public Partnership project when completed is expected to span from Chief Bath Anigbogu Crescent Umuriam Village to Mmimi/Umukwa Village through the High Tension Wires connecting three major villages in Nawfia Community.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, The Transition Chairman Of Njikoka Local Government Area, Amb Clem Aguiyi while appreciating Governor Soludo for appointing as Njikoka Council Mayor, aplauded Chief Bath Anigbogu for his patriotic spirit passionate move of facilitating and sponsoring the construction of 1- kilometre road in Nawfia, in Njikoka LGA, and thank God thanked God for bringing up prominent individuals in the community who are willing and ready to contribute to the development and growth of their community and the entire council area.

According to him, given back to the the society encourages unity, peace, progress and development and expanded on his intentions of attracted more sustainable roads and other infrastructural projects including 7km road across Njikoka LGA before December to reduce the gridlock during the Christmas Season.

He highlighted the impactful strides of Governor Soludo's administration over two years, pointing out significant achievements in security, law and order, infrastructure, and human capital development and also took time to expand on his accomplishments which not only lay the groundwork for unique positive transformation and succession by setting up a new governance standard but also act as a major spur for developments in the many communities across the entire council areas. He however charged the project contractors, to ensure quality construction and timely delivery of the project.

Also speaking, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol to Mr Governor, Hon. Chinedu Nwoye, Glamour, while appreciating the project, commended Engr Enweluzo for the kind gesture, noting that he had once again proved himself as a selfless, true patriot and worthy son of community.

Hon. Nwoye emphasized that such private interventions from the likes of Chief Anigbogu motivates and encourages the government and called on prominent individuals of Nawfia Community and the entire Njikoka LGA to emulate Enweluzo's gesture by supporting the present administration especially at the grassroot level by the provisions of social amenities.

On his part, the President General, Nawfija Development Union, Chief Daniel Okoye while expressing his unfathomable joy at the new road project, on behalf of the Nawfia people appreciated Chief Anigbogu for moving to facelift the new road axis. He prayed that God will continue to bless, protect and guide him and his family while urging other well to do individuals to imitate his footsteps in community development.

Earlier, the chief sponsor of the project Chief Bath Anigbogu represented by Chief Obiora Nwankwo in his remarks, stated he decided to embark on the project to honour the memory of his benefactor and also to ameliorate the suffering of his people on account of bad roads in that part of the the community, affirming his intentions of contributing his quota as a private individual to the overall development of the community through infrastructural development as well as other landmark projects to support the government in fostering rapid economic growth and pave way for enhanced connectivity and prosperity in the community.

He noted that the Governor’s presence to flagg off the road project demonstrated the state government readiness for partnerships in ensuring sustainable delivery of dividends of democracy and assured unwavering commitment and support to the Prof Chukwuma Soludo led administration.

The Traditional Ruler of Nawfia community, His Royal Majesty, Igwe .Dr Daniel Ogochukwu Obelle ( Ezeudo Nawfia) was also present at the event.
