Timely message for Nigerian social media users. The rate at which I see Nigerians misuse the social media is alarming. We have abandoned the values that used to be our trademark and have voted for mediocrity. I see a lot of that here in Naira land. We have started a campaign to help out on this.

Are you part of this group that use the social media wrongly?

Your post (the text) is vague because it does not contain any example of how people wrongly use social media.

As for the video, I will not waste my time on it. I am on Nairaland to read texts. I go to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok when I want to watch videos. In fact, you presenting your content as a video on a platform meant for text is wrong. Present your content as text and put the video as option for those who care to watch the video. Hiding the idea in a video and posting the video link here is an abuse of this platform. So, you are guilty of what you try to combat. I don't mean to bash you. But I don't know how else to express my perception of your post.
