Role: Head, Fleet Management Operation (HFMO)
Location: Lagos
Full-time|| Hybrid

Job Description
1. Schedule transportation routes per geopolitical zones with particular movement plans.
2. Ensure regular vehicle maintenance and repairs.
3. Responsible for the decision on purchase of company vehicles.
4. Responsible for hiring and training of drivers, monitoring driver’s performance and effect sanctions when necessary.
5. Maintain and manage relationships with mechanic hubs across Nigeria (divided by the 6 geopolitical zones).
6. Collaborate with human resources and business managers to add quality drivers to the fleet.
7. Develop a strategy for decreasing vehicle maintenance costs; work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or routine maintenance.
8. Assist drivers in creating the most efficient routes.
9. Create reports of trucks and drivers' effectiveness to be regularly analysed for the department's efficiency.
10. 10. Meeting regularly with drivers and maintenance team members to discuss ways to meet or exceed corporate revenue goals
11. 11. Ensures fleet compliance to all road and vehicle regulations and laws; Nigeria Highway Code, road signs, and necessary documentation.

Requirements
1. HND/BSC in relevant field
2. A minimum of 6 years proven work experience in a similar role
3. Sound knowledge of Fleet Management Operations
4. Solid understanding of management frameworks
5. Strong strategic thinker
6. Proven record of research projects conducted
7. Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
8. Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
9. Strong attention to detail and analytical skill
10. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
