#5b Budget: PDP Chides Ayedatiwa For Swindle.
The PDP People Democratic Party, Onto state has carpeted Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa for an alleged allocation of #5b for the renovations of a daycare center in the state. "The amount was meant for buying of items such as baby stroller, baby toys,and beddings .Another #18b loan was also to be sourced from a French Development Agency for the provision of water in Akure the state capital.
" What is most regrettable is that the documents went through several processes of screening and vetting and eventually passed to the state house of assembly committee on appropriation, involving all the state government relevant official who took turn to defend the same budget but yet none spotted the regrettable error.
"The PDP Ondo state chapter wishes to state unequivocally that the Ayedatiwa government planned to swindle the people through this daycare renovation project that was exposed by the eagle eye media.
" Therefore, a mere apology is grossly not enough. All those connected with the fraudulent act must be brought to justice. The government must clear itself of the allegation should face a panel and made to pay if culpable ".
