Crimes Is Now A Lucrative Business For Some People Who Are In Government – Governor Dikko

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has revealed that certain security agency and government officials have turned the insecurity situation in Nigeria into profitable ventures.

He disclosed this during an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

According to Governor Radda, the exploitation of insecurity for financial gain has contributed to the difficulty in bringing an end to banditry and other forms of insecurity in the country.

He stated that it has transformed into a lucrative business for criminals and individuals within government and security agencies.

The governor’s comments come amid a wave of attacks by criminal bands, locally referred to as bandits, targeting rural communities across Nigeria.
