If a frog is put in boiling water, he'll jump out to protect himself. However, if you place a frog in a pot of cool/room temperature water & slowly turn up the fire until it reaches a boil, he won't notice the subtle differences & will be boiled alive.

The essence of the boiling frog syndrome is that when our living conditions deteriorate gradually, we adapt to these conditions instead of getting rid of them, until we are no longer strong enough to escape. Same thing at play in Nigeria we are all sitting down insulting those speaking up because of tribal and religious bigotry while APC keep making life hard for us

Inflation rate= 40+

Majority of Nigerians are not
smart people. They would rather hide under religion or look for ways to scam and kidnap each others.

The politicians know this fact and reasons why they take full advantage of an ignorant population.

Many cried and wailed through the Buhari 8 years but want him back now the water is much hotter and àgbàdo. How they expected the same party to be any different and give them what they never got in 8 years would amuse me if it wasn't so painful.

What fears me more is the thought of the same APC not only doing the next 4, but the next 8 years. But I guess that's democracy for you. It slowly teaches people that they are responsible for their own pain or gain.

16 years though of repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results just shows how little we know and how much we need to learn to become responsible.

I think the problem is that Nigeria is a bit more complicated, complex and disparate than your average country, and this is why it’s more difficult for any revolution or seismic change in its politics or structure to occur! The oppressors know this and this is why they take advantage of the divisions to play one side against the other….appealing to primordial ethno-religious sentiments to acquire and stay in power! Also, they use the hunger they inflicted on the naive masses to control them

That being said, there are some groups that have shown the desire to free themselves from this dire situation. Just that the scenario of crabs-in-a-barrel plays out and their efforts are frustrated by others who seem not to be bothered by the chains shackling them down!

See just count Igbos out of your talk, Igbos have tried, we warned about 1 Nigeria, we even had to fight war for that, we warned about Buhari, Buhari punished the south east because of that.

During end SARS. Igbos decided to join in protest of bad governance with other tribes in the south, Igbos were singled out and blamed for the protest.

2023 we warned about Tinubu, Igbos were physically attacked during the election, till date Igbos are still being attacked for either staying silent or talking, isn't it clear that anything Igbos do some people will want to divert blames to them.

We are tired of getting blamed trying to help Nigeria, please when you are talking about Nigerians, please be specific, Igbos have tried and should be given the respect for that...

If we join try to help as you are insinuating, they will say because Peter Obi lost election that we want to destroy the country.

Please be more specific with your details, Igbos have tried....

No matter how many protests and revolutions that takes place in Nigeria, it will never succeed . It's not a curse. A country that is way too diverse in all ramifications cannot succeed. It's like putting lions and hyenas or monkeys and baboons or fuel and kerosene in a space. They won't mix no matter how you try. Nigeria is a product manufactured for British gain and was never meant to succed
