An Association in the Financial Services Sector located in Lagos, wishes to engage the services of suitably qualified candidates for the position of an Executive Secretary/CEO.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Work with the Governing Council to give leadership and direction.
• Facilitates Reports and Meetings of Governing Council & Board of Trustees.
• Follows up implementation of BoT and GC’s decisions.
• Exemplifies Association’s culture and corporate image.
• Interacts with top Management of regulatory agencies and those in target markets.
• Markets the Association at all fora, within and outside Nigeria.
• Coordinates and supervises all activities of the Secretariat.
• Implements a result-oriented Performance Management System.
• Ensures that the Association complies with all regulatory requirements and behaves in a socially responsible manner.
• Ensures adequate level and quality of physical resources for operations and services.
• Ensures recruitment, training, and retention of team for service delivery.
• Execute the Association’s strategic plan and other approved strategy as pertinent with Governing council’s guidance.
• Performs any other duty assigned by the Governing Council.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BSc with relevant experience
• MBA, MSc, or any professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and or experience of Markets and Local Treasury environment may be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years post-graduation and experience in financial market functions.
• Capacity to demonstrate knowledge of the financial market’s ecosystem.
