1 Corinthians 2:4-5
4. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power
5. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God.

One of several ways God advertises the kingdom is in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. It is the will of God, our Father, to demonstrate his power through the church for His glory. This He does that our faith should not anchor on man's wisdom and ability, but in the power of His might. "To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be know by the church the manifold wisdom of God" (Ephesians 3:10).

That last statement corroborates the facts that God wants to demonstrate His power through the church, the body of Christ. As matter of fact, that text says "To the intent..." meaning that God Has willed to show His might through the church.

The question is: is there something we, the church, could do to make God's power demonstrable? Yes indeed. Let us take a peep into scriptures to understand how.

James 5:16
16. Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray (also) for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart). The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)

James writing by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, says, "... The earnest prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available!"
In other words, we could make God's tremendous power available through our earnest prayer. particularly praying in the Spirit.
When we pray in the Spirit we're demonstrating God's ability: because the Spirit gives us utterance to pray and [also] help our weakness by strengthening us with power.
Jude 19-20
19. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Remember what Paul said in our beginning text: "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God." Well, Jude emphasized on the same premise when he says, "... Building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost."

Notice Jude did not say building up yourselves "in" your most holy faith, rather he says, building up yourselves "on" your most holy faith. In other words, both Jude and Paul admonished us that our faith should stand on the foundation of the power of God. And to do this, we must pray in the Spirit.
So therefore, one way to make God's power demonstrable is by prayer, particularly praying in the Spirit.

Isaiah 12:3
3. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

In that text, water is a type of the Holy Ghost. Isaiah was prophesying of the effect of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in the life of a believer.
Put slightly differently, the Spirit of the Lord is made demonstrable by the joy in the Holy Ghost unto salvation, healing, and preservation. In Act chapter two, when the Holy Ghost fell on the apostles, many who were around mocked them saying, these men are drunk. But Peter reminded them that they're not drunk, rather this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel: "... In the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh." The apostles were drunk in the joy of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17
17. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Through Joy we could lift up our spirits in unison unto God, making tremendous power available. One of the attributes of joy is laughter. When you're overjoyed, you couldn't help but to smile and to laugh as the euphoria gladdens your heart,' for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Psalms 126: 1-2
1. When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

Many people are waiting for things to happen instead of acting in faith for things to happen. Notice verse 2 of that text says, "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing..." You could fill your own mouth with laughter and singing unto the Lord, which will turn to your joy; and so drawing water out of the wells of salvation, so to speak.

I remember reading after Kenneth E. Hagin. At one time he said, when he's teaching under the anointing, people around him will start to laugh to the point of falling down in joy. And as they get up on their feet, many in the congregation who were sick will be healed by the power of God. This astounded many a preacher who did not understand the demonstration of the power of God through joy and laughter and they began to criticize his ministry that he was hypnotizing his congregation. No, Hagin was not hypnotizing his congregation, he was only acting on the word of God. " When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing... [For] ...with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." The word salvation in that text imply the idea of healing, wholeness, preservation, deliverance, help, and welfare.

I remember one time I was weak and could not move a muscle. My head pounding like the sound of the bell clock. I picked up my Bible and read scriptures such as those and I decided instead of lying down on the bed I will act of the word of God. I stood up and walk a few meters, with joy in the Holy Ghost in my heart, I began to laugh, and as I continue to laugh, all symptoms in my body disappeared. Prays God.

So therefore, another way to make God's power demonstrable is by the joy in the Holy Ghost.
