Gazzuzz, Nurey, Tpound,Ikhenna and other engineers I can't remember please help me..... I complained some months ago that my Nissan Sunny ex Saloon 2004 model was having some issues which made me to change some sensors like Tps, Maf, can't remember the third one though, which after replacement of these 3 car drives well, I didn't drive again till 2 weeks later, only for check engine to pop up again, I managed to drive home, after 3 weeks of not driving the car, I decided to take it out yesterday only for the car to stall whenever I tried to engage the gear when returning from my journey which was not up to 5km from my house.
Now, it not moving at all and my mechanic has scanned it, the code he got was P0100 Mass Airflow Sensor Circuit, this is a thing I just bought, have not driven even 30km. Please what can I do? I sent money for another mass airflow sensor to him already but I need your advise my ogas.

Normally he can test the replacement MAF sensor using a ohms meter, both the nonfunctional one and functional one should have different reading, you can find the exact reading a working maf should give online.

But the easiest is using the scan tool to live data reading graph to confirm what is really going on. One problem of Nissan is the sensor, once it goes bad, Chinese knockoffs rarely work for it.

Okay my ogas but does that mean the sensor that will work fine can't be found, this last one was bought in Ladipo by him. How can he read the data reading graph?

Scanner then go to live data if he knows his onions he should be able to decipher what is going on with the Maf sensor, if it is your issue or something else. You may need a high grade scanner for that

Sensor s not good to buy used. When buying sensor, make sure u bought original OEM parts with Nos.
Una always buy used sensors forgetting that ohms & voltage laws can't be cheated..

The error code states 'circuit fault". have you checked to confirm the electrical circuit between the sensor and ECU is good before changing sensor?

Please how do I go about this? I would have driven the car to a good rewire's place but it at the mechanic's house, the car can't move once you engage it in drive.
