Let's Spread Love In Our Native Languages! by Translinguang: 9:14am On May 15 |
Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Olamide, and I am from the beautiful Yoruba culture in Nigeria. In Yoruba, we say "Mo nífẹ̀ẹ́ rẹ." to express "I love you." I thought it would be wonderful for all of us to share how we say "I love you" in our native languages. It's a small gesture, but it can bring so much warmth and understanding across our diverse community. Please join in and share the phrase from your own culture. I'll start: Yoruba: Mo nífẹ̀ẹ́ rẹ. or Mo fẹ́ràn rẹ You can take it a step further and tell us in your dialect! I look forward to seeing all the different ways we express love around the world! Warm regards, Translingua |
