After working for one month they give u one bag of garri as salary fogeting that workers pay Rent, transport to work every working day and they do feed their selves. Will politician give their girl friends as low as N50, 000 for one night, not to talk of one month.

On top of that, they pay and contribute to almost all the taxes, and the yeye politicians were exempted

Stealing and looting will increase. Why would you ruin the economy like this and be asking civil servants to take 48k naira minimum wage? Wicked people everywhere! At this level of inflation, they deserve nothing less than 300k naira as minimum living wage

Shut down the useless economy.
Rubbish
Re: Labour Rejects ₦48,000, Walks Out Of Minimum Wage Committee Meeting by tnerro1(m): 7:07pm On May 15
48k is not realistic, just like that labour 615k is not realistic.

Tinubu should just come and shout minimum wage is 130k, just like he shouted subsidy is gone without backup plan

ask yourself how productive are the reps members and your senators to receive the huge amount they are receiving apart from the money they are stealing from the constituency projects grin

The question is most Nigerian federal , state and local government workers , how productive are they.

Does there input into the system generate that amount or they just want to be paid for doing nothing
Case of pennywise pound foolish.

The subsidy that government doesn’t want to pay ,would be paid in triple fold, via higher wages and other short and long term palliatives.

It's not my fault that I'm not suffering the hardship you and your family are suffering. Don't pour your frustrations on anyone.
Though I selflessly care, support and help many people facing economic challenges.

I try to be logical. Yes, salaries should be increased.

I used a university graduate as an example, so people who may be confused with 48k monthly salary can get some clarifications.

Now, if truly sweepers are the least in the civil service ladder, how many of them work from 9am to 4pm in their respective ministeries?

God forbid your uselessstatement. I send any hardship you are projecting back to you and your family in a million irredeemable fold. it is done and so shall it be. You're so myopic you think every one breathes the naira and kobo you chase and labour for daily. I need not reply you anymore. you are not worthy of my response. You will learn to talk sensibly.

It would have been better if the Government look for a way to deal with inflation rather than increase the minimum wage but do the FGN have the will power to do it?
