The Student Loan Portal goes live exactly a week from today on Friday, May 24, 2024. I call on prominent Nigerians and even other Presidential candidates in the last election to support this laudable policy. We should not only condemn. When good occurs, we could also commend. I know if this were a beer drinking portal, a person like Peter Obi, who spent eight years as Governor of Anambra without building a single school, would have commended it, due to his love for beer. He is a HERO to beer drinkers. I hereby appeal to Peter Obi to also be a HERO to students by commending this policy and asking his Obidients to apply via the portal. #TableShaker 1 Like |

Mr Reno, Nigerian students are not stupid. First, it's a loan ... not a grant. Second, under Tinubu govt, school fees increased from as low as #30K before Tinubu to as high as #250k - #350K under So, Nigeria students should appreciate Tinubu for increasing their school fees by 1,000% and cunningly offering them about #100k one-off loan? . 1 Like 2 Shares |
