If you ask me ,I think we always tend to underestimate ourselves, Nigeria has not missed the semi-finals for a long time,our only problem is converting all our huge potential into winning the championship. |

Jairzinho: im not just saying this for the fun of it, Looking at past records,we have not taken our chances very well Lets analyse: Total appearances in SEMIFINAL- EGY &NIG hold the record = 12 times Both countries are also close with FINAL appearances = 6 times each(Ghana has appeared in 7 finals) However loking at winnig ratios(i.e CUP WINS /FINAL APPEARANCES), Nigeria has a very abysmall record EGY- 5/6 = 83% GHA-4/7= 57% CAM-4/5= 80% CON-2/3(also Zaire)=67% NIG-2/6 = 33% This is really bad ! |
