I have to admit, i am a sucker for good soundtracks in movies and some tv series...its my way of reliving the movie scene and i have to admit, probably an aspect the home scene neglects, but you can't rule out the fact that this is one of the major contributions to a successful franchise...i won't even talk of walt disney now, but for example my personal favorites are John Barry collection from 007's Octopussy and Living Daylights, the Matrix reloaded theme when neo fights with the henchmen and the Merovingian, Rob Dougan's chateau and more recently, the sound theme from the Samurai X anime series, esp the Hiten mitsurugi ryuu theme.
