Lets open up some secrets on the fraud called Peter Obi - The worst governor in the history of Anambra State by freegbobe, the original servant of truth

Cuche: Yes I could not agree more. For Peter Obi, being the Governor of Anambra for the past 7 years has been so rewarding especially for his pocket. Apart from being the smartest of the Governors he has also mastered the tricks of deception and sweet talking. He also knows that the easiest way to steal and not be followed by financial crime watchdogs is to befriend the presidency. Another smart move is to regularly decorate the accounts of Bishops and traditional rulers who ordinarily should ask questions on Why Anambra State has received over 900 billion from Federation account as revenue including Local Government funds. Grants from Foreign Donors and revenue generated from industrial areas of Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka, Obosi including his neck-breaking taxation and charges on Land C of O is a story for another day.
Now tell me of the projects he has embarked on that justifies the amount of money that he has at his disposal. Mind you he refused to pay minimum wage to workers, Anambra workers are the least paid in the federation. Medical doctors on internship in the State hospital gets roughly N99,000 monthly compared with N175,000 paid by poorer states which even employ more.
He has continued to claim there is no money whereas his private investment says otherwise. He now owns undisclosed stakes in certain Motor factory at Nnewi, a certain brewery at Onitsha and P/h, and more embarrassing a good stake at an oil facility somewhere in Anambra East/West.
For Mr Peter Obi Okwute Ndi Igbo, any of Ngige, Andy Uba, Soludo, and a few others is not qualified to lead the state simply because these have the will and expertise to hurriedly transform Anambra. He fears that any of these men will definitely expose his failure to bring transformation that is commensurate with the revenue received during his no "money " uneventful tenure.
His no money stance was recently brought to fore as he failed to rehabilitate his people who were "deported" from Lagos State. Other states quietly welcomed and rehabilitated their people but he chose to fan embers of rancor.
He now decides to impose himself further in all local government areas through a belated local government election.
Soon an era of DECEIT and Monumental RAPE of Anambra comes to an end. And Goodbye from Anambra as the saying goes may as well be goodbye from 8 years of deceit and devil- inspired smartness.

Governor Peter Obi and the SABmiller Scandal - the issues raised by Chudi Offodile:

1. The President need not go to Onitsha to commission the SABmiller brewery. It would amount to an endorsement of a sordid affair and may embolden other foreigners who design and put into effect, different and newer corruption techniques with government officials.

2. In the history of corruption in Nigeria, the Onitsha brewery scandal will rank as the most brazen.

When I first raised the issue a few months ago, apart from a rain of insults I received from government agents,
3. the Attorney General, Peter Afuba, directed me to the corporate affairs commission to obtain information about the company.

4. But a search at the corporate affairs commission did not yield any information on SABmiller brewery, Onitsha, which is the name the state government repeatedly called the company.

5. The government itself refused to release any information on the ownership of the company except to say that Anambra state invested 2 billion naira for a 10% stake in the SABmiller brewery with “other businessmen”.

6. The identity of the so called ‘other businessmen’ remained a closely guarded secret until I stumbled upon a company, in the records of the corporate affairs commission, called INTAFACT BEVERAGES LIMITED with registration no 680933, incorporated by the firm of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie.

7. The company has British and South African directors with a nominal share capital of 40,000,000 Naira divided into 400 ordinary shares of 100,000 Naira each.

8. The interpretation clause of the memorandum and articles of association of the company defines ‘state’ as Anambra state government and ‘next’ as Next international limited of Nado House, 98 modebe avenue, Onitsha.

9. The position of Chairman is to be occupied by a Nigerian. The Obi of Onitsha is on the shortlist for the position.

10. 300 of the 400 ordinary shares worth 30,000,000 were allotted to the following shareholders as at April 2011: Sabmiller Nigeria holdings—230 ordinary shares, Anambra state government—40 ordinary shares and Next International Nigeria Limited—30 ordinary shares.

11. Intafact Beverages Limited is the owner of the brewery in Onitsha.

12. Keep in mind, the fact that Next international limited, one of the three shareholders of Intafact Beverages Limited, is owned by Anambra state Governor, Peter Obi and his family.

13. It turns out, that the mysterious ‘other businessmen’ is no other than the Governor himself. Alas, the gods are naked!

14. Part of the land on which the brewery stands in bridgehead, Onitsha, belongs to a company called International Steel Industry Limited, Onitsha. The land was allocated to the company in 1975 by the defunct East Central State government. The company had developed the over 7 acre property and paid ground rent on the property up until 2011.

15. Indeed, the certificate of occupancy was recertified by Governor Obi on the 5th of March, 2010. Yet, Obi went ahead and revoked the right of occupancy of International Steel Co and awarded same to Intafact Beverages Limited, a private company in which he has interest.

16. The land was revoked for “overriding public interest” and re awarded to a private company for “overriding personal interest”. It is illegal to revoke a parcel of land for overriding public interest and grant the same parcel to a private company.

17. It becomes immoral and symptomatic of greed, avarice and a capricious abuse of state power, when the beneficiary of the revocation is the Governor himself.

18. SABmiller, based in South Africa, is said to be the biggest brewery group in the world. Its investment in Nigeria is speculated to be more than a 100 million us dollars.

19. A good deal for Nigeria and Anambra state no doubt.
But it appears that in an attempt to expand its operations in Africa, it has gotten itself entangled in a web of corruption and unethical conduct.
20. Governor Obi personally handled all negotiations between Anambra state government and Sabmiller group and visited South Africa several times on the subject.
21. Did Sabmiller allocate the shares in Intafact Beverages Limited to Next international limited as “bribe” to further its business interest in Nigeria?
22. (a)What did Governor Peter Obi have in mind when he invested 2 billion naira of Anambra state money in a company he has direct interest? (b) What other assets of Anambra state did he contribute on behalf of the state to further his own business interest? (c) Did Next international [Obi’s company] pay for the shares allotted to it in ‘cash or kind’ and how was the payment, if any, effected? (d) What does Governor Peter Obi understand by the oath he swore to, on assumption of office; “that I will not allow my personal interest to influence my official conduct or my official decisions”.

23. To address these questions and more, an international enquiry into the activities of Sabmiller group in Nigeria and the operations of Next International limited and the possible interface of its accounts with that of Anambra state government should commence without further delay.

24. To this end, I shall be forwarding a letter to Nigeria’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice, the British government, the government of South Africa and the United States Department of Justice demanding for this investigation.

25. With the investigation that is sure to come, it will not be advisable for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be the one ‘commissioning’ the controversial brewery. They may drag the name of the President into their sleazy deal with a claim that the arrangement was approved by the President.
26. Orient Petroleum on the contrary, was set up in a most transparent manner as a private company in 2001. The stake of the Anambra State government in the company is about 3%. It is an indigenous company in almost every sense and proudly so. Its office is in Awka, Anambra State with the board and the management populated by eminent citizens of the state.
27. The rig used in the production process belongs to Casmir Maduafokwa from Anambra State.

28. The storage vessels moored on the banks of Anambra river, into which the crude flows, enabled by a 10 kilometer flow line, belongs to Cletus Ibeto, a category [A] investor in the Orient project who is also from Anambra state.
The ingenuity of our people is on full display. This is despite the antics of a noisy state government seeking to take credit for the efforts and achievements of a private company, that had to construct a 25 kilometre road with its lean resources to enable about 40 trailers navigate the huge rig to the wellhead in Anambra River 1.
I welcome President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan [GCFR] to Anambra state, to inaugurate the first oil production from an inland basin in Nigeria by Orient Petroleum and Refinery Company plc.

29. While in Anambra state, Mr President should avoid the controversial precincts of the drunken brewery giant, SABmiller.

That is the more reason Anambrarians should vote someone who is not subservient to Peter Obi. Soludo tho untested would have been a good choice but for his latest debacle. To me Ngige still remains the best of the lot.

SUB: PETER OBI- A Hope Betrayed By Edwin Chukwujekwu & Nonyelum Nwokoye

CONGRESS OF PATRIOTIC ANAMBRA CITIZENS

conpanc@yahoo.com

‘’Time they say sweeps everything along and can bring good as well as evil, evil as well as good.’’ Nicolo Machiavelli.

Since 1999 Anambra would have been a good example of how Nigeria will be except for bad leadership and high powered deception by the political class, thus betraying the hopes of the people.

Today, as the state navigates towards 2010, we as concerned Anambra citizens are worried about the future of the state and the fact that the impoverished people traumatized by poverty may be incapable of standing or voting against their oppressor- in - chief .

Otherwise, how do we explain the audacity of the ‘’Continuity Project’’ being powered by the incumbent governor Mr Peter Obi in the face of general insecurity, decayed infrastructure, bad roads, parlous educational system, unending strike action by the state work force, hunger and starvation in so many homes , death in hospitals , disgraceful image the state acquired on account of non performance of his government and other unimaginable consequences of the wickedness inflicted on the people.

How will the people progress from this point without a change? Our mission is to cause change and enthrone good governance in the state .

There is a common saying that ‘’you can fool the people one time but you cannot fool all the people all the time’’.

Obi’s four years tenure has exposed his crass ignorance to the rudiments of good governance, incompetence and lack of values for human capital development.

As stake holders in the Anambra common wealth ,we are duty bound to alert our fellow citizens of the danger of continuing to allow a ruthless drug baron who ought to be facing justice to govern us for another four years.

In furtherance, we give 10 reasons why Obi’s continuity project should be stopped by our collective will except he offers explanation on the following key issues:

1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.

2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London . This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter.

3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor Ibim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.

4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the circumstances surrounding his father’s death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi’s father was drowned to death by Obi’s associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.

5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state , ‘’Saint’’ Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira from the state FAC accounts)

6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi . The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet to wed his wife in the church.

7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.

8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the youths in Anambra remain unemployed;

9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;

10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?

LMAOROTFL. What does this have to do with him being fraudulent. Walai Nigerians are comedians. What is wrong with having a child for an Albino and a Ghanian. Are you trying to say his wife was a big time club girl or ashawo too? Abeg, make una no kill person for NL.
