im just got my british citizenship and i really dont know how to get started, im looking for someone who could help me get settled in london with a job and a temporary place to stay,expenses on me.im still in nigeria,so people!!! who would do me this favour? |

Are you planning on staying in London or some other city? Because London is a hard place to get started especially when you don't know anyone as it is the most expensive city in Britain. I would advise you to come with at least 3 months house rent plus basic upkeep money (Rent at least £1000 for London, and about £850 other areas). When you get here, you can go to the Job centre and speak to an advisor about what your options are, and also how to start looking for work. While you are looking for work, you are entitled to a jobseekers allowance which is very marginal. I hear its about £40 a week. Check out : www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk |
