I'd advice, u learn the basics of all before you decide where to major

Start off with C++ or even typing Javascripts, (if u want to play around with outputs or a pretty interface)
get familiar with those, It gets your mind ready,

Afterward you can start Java, SQL Server, play with Networking, you can even put Designing in the mix. When you get an idea of what you prefer more, Major on that (you can even do all if you want)

Good Luck

Hint: Consistency is the key

All programmers started from a beginning stage, and at that stage have some kind of difficulty like:
what is the basic language to learn?
how long does a beginner need to sit in his computer?
where is the to learn programing(school or home)?
how long will it take a beginner to understand the basic?

Most of you guru's have surpass all this stage, and i like you to advice a beginner on how to pass all these stage.
Thank you.
