Hey, man. You won't have that much of pain in the ass if you'll keep it natural. Don't buy plastic decorations or some other industrial sh*t. Let nature make the job. Cleaning the tank cannot be escaped as the algae are part of the process. There are live rocks that you can use (I have some and you can read more about them on https://arcreef.com/live-rock/live-rock-guide/) , some marine plants, wood. Something that you can try are the Coralline Algae that should grow faster than the green one and this way kills it. Plus, it protects the reef and it has a beautiful colors.
