Since the closure of Nigeria borders by the Federal government local rice has been patronised by Nigerians. What are your observation on this rice and how can they be improved. Hmmm Nigerian local rice still need to be poolished in such away that one will not be ablrle to differntiate it from foreign, so that it could be exported to neighboring country. |

Better polishing and de-stoning. But I like local rice like mad, not really a fan of long-grained and stand alone rice. I love my rice sticky or gummy particular with jollof rice plus that aroma, very nostalgic. I hate jollof rice wey no stick together. Fake oyibo jollof  |

RICE FARMERS REALLY NEED TO PLANT MORE OF LONGER GRAIN THAN THE SHORTER ONES WHICH ARE CAN BE SEEN EVERYWHERE NOW. THE LONG GRAIN IS VERY DIFFICULT TO COME BY, FOR DESTONING, YES, DESTONING MACHINES ARE NOW AVAILABLE. ONE OF THE THING I SEE MISSING IS THE POLISHING ASPECT. |
