Technically, colonialism ended in 1910 in South Africa when the British granted the colony independence. What ended in 1994 was white minority rule.

The simple answer to this question is that the Europeans who came in the 1500 and 1600's made sure a majority of them became isolated away from "mixing" with other groups and ergo they retain very many nordic features that have not been "diluted".

This is evidenced in the way Americans look slightly different from their European counter parts because of several ad mixtures amongst so called "European" whites that have occurred through out the centuries.

The killings in the US are not termed "ritual" because they are primarily organ theft for resale and are not used in the making or any potions or concortions.

The one's described in South Africa fit the bill of ritual killings perfectly whether they are few and far in between or "rampant"
