Jesus' mandate is to love God above all and our neighbours as ourselves. The Cross stands on these principles. As we journey through Lent, let us allow this mandate to transform us from within and embody the virtues of compassion, mercy, and self-giving love.
The Cross, a symbol of suffering and sacrifice, is the ultimate manifestation of Jesus' mandate. Jesus exemplified the highest form of love through His crucifixion, laying down His life for others.
