This is a campaign to free the Itsekiris and Ilajes from the other parasitic tribes of Delta state. Please support this movement and help the Itsekiris and Ilajes occupy their resources in Delta state cool

Itsekiris and the Ilajes are the main parasites, Main Yoruba people chased out from their home land in Yorubaland, where they settle now is ijaw and Okpe land, they are migrant in Delta.

What's wrong with you, and why do you take things to heart?? I'm just trying to get under beaf and his Delta cohorts' skin. They're always quick to call the SW parasites - but in reality - Yoruboid groups in Delta state produce 95% of the wealth in Delta state.

Listen, this is just to set the record straight - if Yorubas are parasites - then every other tribe in Delta state are also parasites because Yoruboid groups (Itsekiris and Ilajes) own almost all the oil wealth in the state.

They were not chased out - they settled there way before all the other tribes in the midwest - including the Ibinis. Educate yourself!!

The map below shows that Itsekiri and Ilaje land in Delta state is and extension of Ondo state:

What the phuck are you on about?? Some of you parasitic tribes take things to heart - you're quick to dish out but can't take the same treatment. When beaf and his fellow deltans were calling Yorubas parasites - where was your sanctimonious self, clown??

If you don't know what banter is - I beg you to go pick up a dictionary, olodo.

I'm NOT a tribal(ist) - I'm a realist, and I'm 120% Nigerian.

They know they're Yorubas, and they're proud of their culture and heritage. cool

You're a clown!! I already said it was "banter" - and nothing too serious. Google is your friend, if you don't know banter is. Get a life - and if you can't get one, eat a bowl full of dycks.

Man ,  Itsekiris and Ilajes are not Yoruba, they are tiny tribes living in the midst of majority Yorubas and assimilated themselves, but due to majority Yoruba tribe hatred of tiny Itsekiri tribe, they were chased out from their homeland in today greater Yorubaland, Itsekiris were just wandering from one place to another, even the Binis didn't accept them, it was when Binis gave them red card that they headed down to Ijaw and Okpe land, out of mercy they allowed Itsekiris to settle where they are today. Today Itsekiri Land is Ijaw and Okpe Land.

@bittyend, nice thread. What u raised here may look like a bigoted view of oil ownership issue, but in reality it helps bring the complex issues of oil ownership to the surface.

If we are talking about land and oil under it belonging to any group of people it should be at the LGA and Tribal level here. The other tribes of delta are truly parasitic on the Itsekiris' and Ilajes' oil. If u go to most company that give job qouta to indigenes or their host, they have no provision for the other tribes like urhobo, igbos, and isoko becos they know these people don't have oil under their land in reality. They only claim oil owners based on being in the same Delta state as the real oil owners.
The Beafs of this forum and their likes beyond here are technically the most parasitic people. They do nothing in terms of service and prodvct exchange to earn oil money and even blackmail, extort, steal from, khdnap, and intimidate oil companies and their workers whereas the strength and resource to carry all these activities comes from the oil companies: schools, scholarship, roads, healthcare, business loan, and water yet they come on Nairaland to boast about being oil owners. They forget that under total resource control policy, the resource goes to the final land owners. If people who only share the same state with oil communities claim the oil what about those in the same country and continent? Don't u forget that oil is not always formed where it is deposited and its formation has effects on the ecosystem too. How do we reconcile rocks in Kogi, Ogun, Osun or potential earth quake in Plateau and Bauchi. Do we even realize that there is a FG parastatal in charge of the study and monitoring of potential natural disasters like earthquake in Bauchi and Plateau states at all?
In reality, there are few valid arguement for increasing resource control by 'owners' of oil if carefully examined.
The issue of offshore oil is another very sensitive one that should be saved for another day.

This is interesting, apart from rivers state where all the lgas are oil producing, many of the so called niger deltans in delta, bayelsa, edo, akwa ibom, cross river states are actually guilty of the same crime they accuse the north of,they are actually parasites, hehe!

So,an igboman from oguta or egbema in imo state,is actually more nigerdeltan than some of those people in delta and bayelsa? Wow! This thread is actually an eye opener.

I was wrong.
