When I was teaching in one private school, there use to be a female teacher that any offense lead to beating infact her best mode of communication is the cane. Atimes I wonder what joy did she derived from seeing those children in tears or in marks or in pains. So aggressive and annoying that I do keep away from any scene around her. She once mistakenly hit a child on the head and the cane pierce some skin, see blood na Im I carry my too leg waka from the scene. How much is my salary that I will use for police case. Anyways she stops teaching and am happy for her cos if not she for don dey kirikiri by now.

In this case, either the beating was excessive which of course is BAD or the child was actually quite sickly in which case she should not have beaten the child...
Beating is for correction not destruction but it is a necessary tool for correction.
A teacher who has severe anger issues should perhaps not be a teacher or not be allowed to hold the cane... these are part of the balances I'm talking about

I have taught kids before and I can tell you that the teacher was unfortunate.

The way they describe it is like the teacher beat the child like an adult but actually it could be little taps here and there but some kids fear cane alot that the sight of it could trigger a shock in them.

Gave her serious warning not to maltreat her otherwise I will report her personally to Lagos state child abuse agency..
