Student Loan And Minimum Wage As we draw closer to one year in office by delkuf(m): 8:15am On May 21
President tinubu is desperately rushing to conclude the students loan and minimum wage as achievement since he took over in may 29 last year. The students loan has not been talked about since April, when he signed it into law. All of a sudden, we hear that 1.2 million students have been picked. And they would start giving out loan by 24 May 2024, five days to one year in office. The same thing with the minimum wage. The negotiation between the committee was last held March. For over two months, no meeting was held. But suddenly, we almost had two meetings in a week. And there is another meeting today. Just because we are moving closer to May 29.
All this rushing and desperation wouldn't be necessary, if this govt is reasonable and put the masses at heart. Those high coaster road construction should have been done alongside project that will directly benefits the masses.
