Governor Seyi Makinde has congratulated his daughter, Tobi, on her graduation from Yale University.

The proud father praised her dedication and perseverance, noting how her hard work led to the significant achievement.

He also expressed his best wishes for her future endeavours.

The announcement was accompanied by photos of the governor with his daughter and other family members who attended the graduation ceremony.

Makinde wrote: “Congratulations, my darling Tobi on your graduation from Yale University yesterday. Your hard work and diligence paid off. Wishing you all the best as you embark on a new chapter of your life and I’m also glad that I have one less school fee to pay.”

It is very difficult to see children of our politicians from governor, senator, minister to president in our universities and they claim to love this country.

Anyway, congrats to her and her Dad the man that raised her.

Our politicians are not the problem we have. I think we the masses are the problem.

He campaigned to give us good hospitals good roads good schools and better jobs

Yet his children are schooling abroad at very outrageous fees that could build schools here.

When he is sick he leaves the hospital he promised to build to the ones abroad.

And yet we haven't protested against any of these

Governor Makinde has been trying but he can do more. He has the money to send his daughter to such school, he should as well ensure that our schools in Ibadan are well upgraded.
