How I met my wife
God chose to give her to me as a wife; he chose that we would meet in the same office. I was looking for some people who would start a small broadcasting company. We wanted intelligent and brilliant people because then, I was still a trainee with Galaxy TV. She entered the office where we were, immediately I saw her, my spirit told me this is your wife and I approached her.

Love at first sight
I believe in that word because the moment I saw her my spirit accepted her as my wife. I could not wait to approach her and she didn’t turn me down.

Attraction
She is a beautiful lady. Her appearance attracted me. She is very intelligent. She speaks fluently. She is God fearing. She stood by me all the time. She is the very friendly and quiet type.

Parental consent
It was not easy convincing my father to accept her because he preferred another girl known to him but I told him it was all about my life and happiness that mattered. Fortunately during the traditional marriage he changed his mind and supported us fully and blessed our marriage.

In-law relationship
I never met my father in-law because he is late. They accepted me as their son. I have very good relationship with them. I took her mother as my own mother.

Proposal
In Government Garden Park in Kaduna where I proposed to her with a ring. I told her I want to apologize for things I have done to her. She thought I was really apologizing while somebody was behind her with the ring. I presented the ring and said to her “be my wife”. She was surprised I could propose to her because she was not expecting it.

How I met my husband
Meeting my husband, I wouldn’t say it was a coincidence. I think it was destiny that brought us together. You know we were seeing each other everyday without knowing ourselves.

Love at first sight
Yes I could say it was love at first sight because it didn’t take us time to get bonded. The moment he left his former base to Lagos we started seeing ourselves. It didn’t take us anything to go into serious relationship.

Attraction
He has a unique way of life. He is very organized man. He falls into my likes and dislikes. He is very hardworking man with good understanding.

Parental consent
I thank God our parents gave us their consent to go ahead with the union. We have God’s blessings for the marriage from both parents.

In-law relationship
My relationship with my in-laws is as good as my relationship with my husband. The way it happened between my husband and me is extended to his family and to my own family. It didn’t take both families time to become bonded.
