Female Journalist And Her Young Daughter Abducted By Gunmen In Ogun State by Enter10: 7:35am On Jun 05, 2016
A female journalist, Nofisat Oshin, a reporter working for the Ogun state council of Nigeria union of journalists (NUJ), has been abducted along with her 15-year-old daughter Afolabi by armed people in Ijebu-Ode town of the state.

The disappearance of the victims was reported to police by their family members and confirmed by the union.
According to a statement signed by Soji Amosu, the acting chairman of NUJ, the woman and girl were kidnapped at gun point at about 8.00pm on Thursday, 2 June.

They were reportedly driving in their car along Akobi Street in Ijebu-Ode when they were ambushed along Akobi street in Ijebu-Ode.
