Good afternoon everyone am here to preach on the topic titled "God is a promise keeper". Most times we humans under estimate the power of God and sometimes we feel he doesn't keep his promises. Consider the story of the Israelites, confined under the harsh rule of Egypt, their cries of despair reaching the heavens. God responded with a remarkable promise, "I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage" (Exodus 6:6). This profound promise, an emblem of God's enduring love and unwavering faithfulness, ushered in a beacon of hope and freedom. God doesn't forget his promise. God promises will eventually come to past in a man's life even though it may take time. God doesn't fail has he works according to his own timing. Deuteronomy 31:6 says "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." God doesn't forsake anyone no matter how harsh or how bad the situation may be. Learn to give thanks to God and never compromise your faith due to the delay in God's promises. God may delay the fulfillment of his promises upon a person but he doesn't forget. God gave Abraham and Sarah a child in their old age even though it seemed late but God kept his promise. Sarah name the boy Isaac which means laughter, so also in the name of Jesus your hope is renewed in the name of Jesus. God will give you the enduring spirit till he brings his plans and purpose upon your life to fulfillment in the name of Jesus. God will never make a promise to a man he won't bring to fulfillment. The Bible says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivered him from them all". In the name of Jesus you will celebrate and you will rejoice in the name of Jesus. God will settle you in the name of Jesus. All you have to do is to wait on God.

yes , your god of Israel is a promise keeper. He said "call upon me in the day of trouble and I will answer you". I believe the victims of Owo massacre didn't call him well. He would have saved them from being killed like rats if they called him Well.

Not trying to hold brief for the OP in anyway, but the verse you quoted out of context was clearly in reference to zionites. Were the victims of Owo massacre Zionites or at least of the tribe of Judah or even of Israel?

If you read carefully those texts you quote from, you will find that most everyone of the promises He made, He made to the blood descendants of Jacob aka Israel and of course conditioned upon their obedience to His Law..
