On September 23, 2023, a woman on TikTok claimed that she had a child with Mohbad, a Nigerian singer who died on September, 12 2022. The woman alleged that Mohbad impregnated her in his hometown and kept the whole thing a secret. She said she gave birth to the child a few days after Mohbad’s death and no longer wanted to remain silent about the matter.



A video of the woman and the child has been circulating online, as seen by SPY NIGERIA, but there is no confirmation that the child is Mohbad’s. The child’s mother has not provided any evidence to support her claim, and Mohbad’s family has not commented on the matter.
