Churches this days are full of hypocrisy most especially the pentecostal churches springing up everywhere full of clown shows. Pastors this days are even more than the congregants.

As long as you have the Holy Spirit, discernment on the right churches to attend will be a piece of cake.

Talking about cakes, I'm craving this right now.

To the question you asked, the reason they can't be one is that they hardly intimately know Jesus. Jesus does not concern Himself with religion. All He asks is that we give our lives to Him. He is neither for or against any movement or denomination. If all of them can seek to know God personally they will tear down the walls of differences.

There is the temptation to think carrying out specific man-inspired actions towards unification of beliefs may achieve union but that is false hope as far as I can tell. This is why the only place you will find perfect unity of the saints is in heaven because there ALL know Him personally.
