I'm sure some of us can't distinguish between the duo berry fruit #pawpaw&papaya#. But in this post i will explain the differences between these fruits.
PAPAYA: is an oval shaped tropical fruit that looks like a rugby ball. It is sweet in taste and orange to reddish in colour. It is mostly grown in places with tropical climatic conditions as under such conditions it produces a large number of fruits.
PAWPAW: is a tropical fruit which is yellow or green in colour and grown in many parts of the world. One can see it in supermarkets and open-air markets. The pawpaw fruit is considered as and oblong-shaped berry that can grow up to 6inches in length. It has yellow flesh and tastes mellow like banana.
I can assure you that 90% of Nigerians have not tasted papaya or even seen it before in their life. Nursery school teachers misled us at young age.
