My Experience At General Hospital Apata, Ibadan by Gooci(m): 1:18pm On May 14
14.05.2024,

I just relocated to Ibadan from Sango Ota and we have to continue the immunization programme for our boy. I decided to use a general hospital in Apata, Ibadan since I was using a genaral hospital in Sango Ota without no issues.
I visited the Apata General Hospital last week to just get my son registered and know about the process of their immunization programme. I was directed to their record department and they told us to come the exact day of my son's immunization date based off his record from Sango Ota.

**Boom** We went there today to commence the process as early as 7am, after wating for 1hr, They called my wife from another department and told her the vaccination is only done on Monday(which was yesterday). I was really mad, What's now the essence of coming initially to confirm things I pointed to the woman that gave the initially instruction, they were just looking. Instead of holding her accountable for passing wrong information, they told me I should have asked the right department ( I was like no be you refer to the department that passed wrong info).

Imagine, one of them told me when they have too much work, sometimes they get confused and miss-yarn. I was like really If it was something that is life threatening or must happened exactly today, I told them thisis just how people lose their lives. They couldn't answer anything, I just vex comot from there go another hospital.

What a shame......

I see a lot of terrible things in one federal hospital.

Hospitals in Nigeria are deathtraps populated with CALLOUS people. But General hospitals are especially worse. They are like a branch of hell on earth.

I once had a nurse laugh in my face when I asked her to check on a patient. This nurse was NOT doing anything at the time.

They are very DISMISSIVE and WICKED.
