Thanks, OP for sharing this wonderful article. May Allah reward you abundantly. Aameen. I don't know what is wrong with some Christians on this Nairaland. Most of you waited for Friday to come and spew your ignorance on this section. As much as you hate Islam, it is the fastest-growing religion in the world. We Muslims don't do things without the backing of the Quran, Sunnah, or the consensus of the scholars. We are not like the Disbelievers who do things based on their emotions. 4 Likes |

Fiscus105: In Islamic Shariah, bid'ah refers to innovations in religious matters, particularly those that alter the core principles or practices of Islam. Not all innovations are considered harmful or impermissible; the focus is on whether they conflict with fundamental religious teachings. E.g. technological advancements or tools that makes life easy, such as smartphones, are generally not considered religious bid'ah (innovation) unless they are used in ways that lead to un-Islamic behavior. 4 Likes |

Rashduct4luv: First and foremost, I don't the meaning of this "baseless and idiotic question of are you a Muslim"?the same question should be asked on other topic or religious topic then, one need to contribute to this discussion that will bring sense to those ignorant ones who are beclouded by religion. The points raised by the poser is infantile, baseless and inadequate. The Child will not know parents, confusion bla, bla, bla....there is always a procedure/agreement to follow, don't assume that the donor will be automatically be a neighbour to the beneficiary.,. It's like blood banks , sperm in the hospital can be used without your knowing of the owner, so what confusion, argument or dispute!? And the childish comments that it's forbidden to see private parts bla..bla..bla.. absolute bunkum! So where do the Muslims women, our wives put to bed? Don't they open up their vagina !? Nonsense!!! These religious/hypocrital ones will always come with fabrication, inaccurate and irrelevant quotation to justify their politics ( under the guise of religion ). Some religious countries do adjust when enlightenment gets to them e.g a lot in middle East and not this stubborn and goat head position. They will argue against birth control, contraception, vaccination e.t. c if it's against their politics they will be looking for irrelevant passages up and down in the Quran or Bible .......when they should ask themselves the purpose of doing these things , Is it for purpose of commiting sin or to solve a problem for humanity? Technology are coming anew and it's not stopping now! So we shouldn't always try to condemn it when they want to solve human problems, what is wrong if a woman cannot conceive and someone else assist in surrogacy? Or union of ovum and sperm cells (from the bank)? to raise children if they are not capable naturally? Has the woman slept with someone else , does she not take blood via blood transfusion? Common! Let's put off this overload burden of sin off our head, sin will always come from mind/motive and not this fabrication and lies against what is to help humanity. Quran will always have answers for technology, is simple zebra crossing or traffic light in the Quran or I must check to know if it's correct for me to cross at green light? Let's apply sense and knowledge in what we do, because they are also gifts from God....and not this robotic and limiting checking and checking to know if you are to use your number 6 or if you are to eat or not. 1 Like |

Rashduct4luv: Wow. How the heck is surrogacy a lack of chastity for crying out loud? A stunning display of repressive backward thinking. 1 Like |
