However, the marine scientist cautioned against total disclosure of sensitive data acquired during surveys, noting that this will jeopardize confidentiality as Nigeria is expected to monetise the information to recover project expenses. Wisdom is profitable ‘‘This is big congratulations for Nigeria,’’ he said while recounting how former President Buhari had briefed him on the importance of the project. This is how great nations are built on continuity. Apart from having a smooth successful handover note to his successor, President Buhari still personally informed his incoming successor, current President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of such a sensitive and strategic project in the pipeline for follow up and today, we are celebrating a great milestone. immortalcrown:Amen. Congratulations to Nigeria. I think that we should go beyond clinking of glasses, we should complete the necessary documentations and take physical possession of the gained territory, by making the territory a hub of economic activities while we explored the possibility of adjusting our request for more continental shelf to extend our maritime boundaries and make up for the lost territory of the Bakassi Peninsula. 8 Likes 1 Share |
