The takeover, initially sanctioned by the previous administration in July 2022, encompasses the Lafia Cargo Airport and Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin-Kebbi. The committee is expected to scrutinize the proposal and present its findings to the Senate in due course.
