This is what we say about products of our first generation universities in the later years following their glorious era from the 60s to early 90s. Bro, what the heck is OAUITE ?? That's how another was calling himself UNILAGITE. What's all that?

snowland:

Oil full your head. That school turned boys into made men. Proudly OAUITE. Reaping Spider House.

Jembe was I think Director of Socials for Awo Hall between 2003 to 2005, Im not sure. He was really popular for Aroism. We had a song for him.

Gush..I still remember when NEPA takes light and boys will come out to the balcony and start saying " Ejade eje ka bura wa ooo" Come out let us abuse ourselves.

And then the fireworks of humorous banter will start.

Oh; Thank you. I heard something like, Lalale Friday! Temi koba sunle o, Awo TV no mo wa, l

Also the Aro line you mentioned still survived beyond Jembe era but I doubt if it's still in use. Ogidiolu was the master of Aro when I stayed on campus. We know each other too, and he's political in term of activism. Not an all out activist but he's fond of it. He's also kegite member. Many beautiful memories in OAU. Only those who witnessed can understand. It's a school of the free and savage.

You talk too much for your age. No one asked you all this, if you are unemployed pls find a job.

It is unbecoming for an advanced aged man like you to be talking so much leave that for the teenagers angry

My post is not meant for you. My people will arrive shortly and we will reminisce on the shared experiences that binds us together.

You are an uncouth human being and you have plenty of growing up to do mentally and emotionally.

If na loneliness dey bother you wey dey make you lash out to people you have never met, then fix it.

And you need to be extremely careful. That igbo wey dey gave you false sense of bravado and whatever small achievement that you think you have that is making you overhype yourself will make you mess with someone who will not hesitate to reduce you to nothing.

And yes you are right. I do have plenty of time on my hand. Pray you get a career that allows you to work remotely and have highly skilled people of different races report to you every morning. Yet I understand that there are other who are doing bigger things and so I stay humble and never look down on anyone

You be small pikin and I've weighed you on the scales and you have been found wanting.

Drug addiction and loneliness are your biggest problems.

Hahaaaaaa, you just brought back those old memories, chai!
Risky burger, old buka, new buka OMG!

That travails of Burkina is still fresh in my memory till today. It must be year 2005 or thereabout. I was there when he was pursued from amphi down to sports complex. Na so my guy tear race enter bush 😆😆

There was another scenario where professor Rogers makanjuola was locked up inside Senate building by protesting students. I wonder where all those guys you mentioned are right now - - the saburis, legacy, tony fash, 3As, obesere and others. I graduated in the year diamond became sug president.

And on that D'banj's show, my group were very close to the stage that night. I remember how one very giant rat (okete) suddenly crawled outside while the show was going on. Many guys went after it right away and it was eventually caught by one of my guys. The thing sef amazed D'banj and don jazzy. What a memory 😆😆😆

But all in all, OAU gave me more bad memories than good ones, especially how a supposed 4 years of study eventually turned to 7 and half years for me. Lecture boycott every now and then, sometimes because of Unilorin, internal ASUU/NASU strike, national strike, extra year, sadist lecturers, supervisor wahala... Damn!
bukina issue was 2002 while the students wanted Maxwell to replace him. But in all that's the greatest of all schools

Shut up. I am not responsible for your bad choices that has made you a total failure at your old age.

Merely pointed out that for a geriatric almost 50 you are rather rambunctious and it's really appalling that you had to mention OAU.

Stop being a disgrace because you failed at life I have a lot of mentors who are alumni that did well.
Take your maladjusted mental deficiency off this forum and don't mention OAU on your self depreciating embarrassment you display here..

The fact I had to break this down for you shows how stupid you really are sir.

No offense

PS: you so called likes who reminisce on this forum are likely failures too.

Otherwise why bring alumni matters here ? Are you unfamiliar with all the alumni official channels?

It possible. It's been a very long time. I looked up Bukina recently I think he works with the United Nations now.

He was my senior in secondary school I really felt bad for him that day...but he had it coming though.

You will remember the Owumi brothers Dennis and his elder brother. Both played on the school team.

You are really sick in the head and blind in the eyes. The post is about the damage to an iconic building that has many memories for any OAU student dead or living no matter the era.

Everyone I mentioned in my post had something to do with the OAU amphitheater. It was and still is the center of ALL major activities on campus.

Major Religious events, Social events, Political events, Academic events such as large PHL 101 lectures, everything big na amphitheater.

As a father you have failed your children by being distant from them. As a husband you have failed your wife by living far away from her and not being available to take care of her needs. And if you feel like crying today. You will cry last last after that igbo clear for your eye.

I know why you are passionate about DNA for your children. I understand your insecurity and won't dig futher into that...not because of you but because of your wife who no know sey her husband na clown.

Places like white house, yellow house, spider house, old buka, new buka, power house, road 7, road 1, Awo cafe , cofee room and aluta market.

Foods like Risky Burger , Sobo , Awo beans and Iyan Iya Egin at Old buka .

I remembered BCO (not sure of the name again). My former boss employed three guys. He told me he employed them because they finished from OAU and they will deliver.
Those guy surely delivered. They can multitasking. Two are in Germany now for field training.

OAU.. The only university that beat ABU Zaria in terms of infrastructures. Everywhere just green with nice flowers and mad buildings. I liked it there . That Amphitheater looks cool. Sometimes I wonder if it’s the same Engineers who were awarded the construction of both universities. UNILAG is a worthy mention as well. I hear Wiwge university is top notch too but as e never start full academic session we’ll see how the structures are with time.

NOTE: Infrastructure is the keyword for now.
