"...The traditional ruler lamented that the bandits have created a base behind the Zuma Rock in Chachi community near Dakawa in neighbouring Niger State, which leads to some forests around Bwari...."

Ordinarily, you'll expect this information to be known in the right circles and proactive measures taken but just watch as these clowns flaff around until it's too late. Mind you, experts have been warning about this for years right from the last regime yet nothing tangible happened. Sick country cool

Death penalty also should go for corruption

Good one from the FCT police command. It's nice to see them do what they're suppose to do, other than make mockery of themselves by collecting bribes and disturbing Nigerians...

I am wary of congratulations when it is always a reactive solution.

This victory is a fluke and will remain flukes if this crime is not tackled systemically.

Profile the kidnappers
Prevent the crimes from reoccurring
This is not a movie

An aunty leaving in Dakwa told me that the bandit stop close to his house and started shooting sporadically. They arrived 12:00 and operated till after 1am without any challenge from any quarter whatsoever. After they left, Nigeria police arrived with their siren. A senior police officer, his wife and daughter with 3 other families were kidnapped in the process.

Why did they put on the siren if they wanted to apprehend the bandits

Intelligence gathering should had prevented such attacks

Banditry won't stop until you hanged those caught but rather they get reward for killing and kidnapping people in my country. It's called rehabilitation

He actually gave valid points. There are security agents registered on forums across the internet. I believe at some point, someone would note these points and an assessment would be carried out. We don't need to keep quiet if we have solutions to issues. The bandits are too close for comfort. Keeping quiet would not save anyone from these criminals. However, I would advise him to post on the police force X page

They are now within Abuja, next will be Gwarimpa which is just across the road to Dawaki.
The Nigerian police should fish them out from their hideouts not always responding to attacks.

If u are new in Abuja, don't buy land close to the hill, rocks and mountains if any.

Lay ambush for terrorist... fierce battle...... scampered for safety..... yet no bandit was killed or arrested. Nigeria now a movie scene.

We are talking about bandits numbering up to 50! No single arrest.

Banditry is the 'yahoo yahoo' of Fulani youth. If you know the implication of this phenomenon, especially as they are not restricting their rubbish to their northern areas but expanding fast into the deep south, then you would understand how fuxxed up we are as a country.

Failed state loading.

Na today them wake up, zuma rock and abj-kaduna express is the bedrock of boko/bandits in abuja jonathan knew this and stationed two military detached platoons along that long express, all the forests there leads to 2 diff states where they have strongholds so its not rocket science that they re attacking towns near kubwa and bwari and environs its cos they know the terrain to pass through the forest unseen to get to the main targets and disappear after operations.
Re: Bandits Raid Another Abuja Community, Abduct Residents by Ghostridder419: 1:35pm On May 21
Coming closer, Dawaki opposite adjacent to Gwarinpa just to cross express and enter Gwarinpa, they will soon enter Aso rock to salute baba blu blu bulala
