Content Creator, Chidike Emmanuel, Shot Dead In Abuja by Newlymarried: 8:19am On May 15
A content creator identified as Chidike Emmanuel has been shot dead in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Emmanuel was said to be on set for a production when he was shot dead in the Mpape area.

The skit maker was said to be among six people attacked by some armed men last Saturday, May 11.

People who claim to be familiar with the situation claimed that the attackers, who were armed with machetes, initially demanded money to allow them to film at the location.

Chidike was said to have given the armed men N2,000. What transpired afterwards that led to Emmanuel’s death remains unknown.

Some other cast members who ran for safety suffered injuries.

A social media user, Loveline Imaobong, informed the public that the victim was in a mortuary.

“The guy in the picture is lying lifeless in the mortuary, he was attacked. Any lead to his family members would be appreciated. They should please go to Mpape’s new police station, Berger Quarry. Please repost till it gets to them,” Imaobong wrote.

Imabong further claimed that Chidi was among six persons allegedly attacked by the armed men.

“Six of us were attacked and he died in the process. We’re currently looking for information about any of his family members,” she added.

People close to the deceased have gone on social media to mourn him while demanding justice.

May his soul rest in peace. May the attackers not go free. There will likely be no outrage on this because the deceased is not a female.

Meanwhile, you don't know his parents but you know he is the only child of his parents.

Why even disclose that he is the only child of his parents? Does it mean the murder will be handled differently if he was not the only child of his parents? This is similar to indicating that a deceased was a first-class graduate.

I always tell people, don't try to prove a point with people that have nothing to lose. You don't have the amount they asked for, why not change location! I'm sure his crew were recording while he was arguing with them thinking that would be another content for him.

To the people taking a hike every weekend in the capital city, be careful pls. These killers are all over around the mountains side.

Stay away from these villages in the FCT!

That thing annoys me ehn. He was the only child of his parent that means the loss should be very painful but if he was one among 10 kids the parents move on the next day.

I have vowed never to father a kid coz what’s the essence of it all
