Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and CCTV Technician to join our team at a mid-level position. As a Network and CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, and monitoring software.
Troubleshoot network and CCTV system issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of network and CCTV systems.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement network and CCTV solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Keep abreast of advancements in network and CCTV technology and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Network and CCTV Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and WLANs.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent is a plus.
