Why My Target Is No Longer To Make Heaven

It's because I'm have found something much better, bigger, and greater.

Though my initial target used to be heaven because the last thing I wanted to do was to end up in hell.

But when I began to walk with God and got to know Him, I was like, what?

Are you kidding me?

Is this what I have been missing all this while?

To be honest, I wished I had gotten to know God much much earlier, and if possible all through my whole life, because God is the best thing that I had ever known and the best thing that had ever happened to me, past, present and even future.

And that is not flattery by any means, infact it's a huge understatement, as mere words cannot even describe Him. He's just too good to be true.

I began to see why those that truly got to know God in the past, wouldn't trade Him or His place in their lives for anything else in this world, but would do or give anything just to keep Him, because God just too much, walahi! So once you really got a taste of Him, you'd never want to let Him go, as you become hooked for life, and just can't get enough of Him.

So despite that God wasn't my original target, having come to know Him, He's won over my heart, soul and mind, that my target is now to please Him and be as close to His heart as possible.

That's why my target is no longer heaven, but He who dwells in it.

And this has been my target for over 2 decades now and still counting.

To God be the glory!

Isaiah 66:1 (KJV)

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

You are sure right. The discussion of heaven had made a lot of people to deviate from following God. They always describe heaven as a place without fun and activities. But when they focus on who dwells in heaven, the owner of heaven, the one who made everything bright and beautiful, they will begin to understand what Paul meant when he said "that I might know him and the power of his resurrection".
When people begin to treasure meeting with God like they do meeting with influential and wealthy society people, their view of God will begin to change and their idea of heaven will begin to become of something of great importance.

Congratulations on your discovery.

The revelation of God is by Grace and it is Divine Act. Choice plays a minimal role.
Some people fasted for many days to obtain it [some have not], but a Muslim son from Ilorin got it on a platter of gold, and he saw Jesus.
Don't get me wrong, some people may still consecrate themselves by fasting and praying to get it though.

When I hear pastors talk about heaven, I will just smile. If the life of Jesus is used as a yardstick to make heaven; NONE of us will go to heaven.

Heaven is a place in your heart sad

The idea of heaven is so stupid I wonder how people believe it lol
The Bible doesn't say much about what heaven is supposed to be like. Most of the claims about heaven are exaggerations of the Bible. The Bible says the Gates are made of pearl. What are the gates for? Are they made just as an excuse to irritate clams? Are the gates supposed to keep someone out or to keep souls from escaping?

it also says the streets are paved with gold but the only reason we actually like gold so much and we attach such values to it is because they are rare and difficult to extract. Gold is malleable and can be formed as needed for use in, among others, electronics, dentistry, medical tools, and the defense, aerospace, and automotive industries. Gold is durable and noncorrosive. However gold shouldn't be valuable at all in heaven unless we'd still need to use gold for those things in heaven too which actually makes heaven just another version of earth

The sales pitch for heaven is that there is only happiness and no sorrow. But it also says that many people's loved ones won't be there. Since they can't feel sorrow about that, are they ecstatic that their loved ones are being tortured forever? Either your memories are removed or your human empathy is removed. Is it really you that is left over once some parts of you have been removed?

If life matters to me now, it will always have mattered to me, even when I am gone. Death cannot change that.

Your best hope is to be locked in a gold cage with your memories of having an actual life being erased just so you can kiss ass for eternity.

Life is pleasant, death is serene. The transition might be troublesome but we all have to go through it. You shouldn't fear death so much. Heaven and hell are imaginary. You should reject the indoctrination. Life is much better that way.

To quote a friend: "Heaven's supposed to be this really great place, right? So how come a third of the angels got pissed off??"

Point of corrections;

The Jews doesn't preach about going to heaven,

Jesus preach about going to heaven to meet our father.

When one gets this revelation, he will say like Paul, all richest gains I count as loss and pour contempt on all my pride.

There's neither heaven nor hell. Imagine muslims believing the 72 virgin orgy in paradise. Christians and other faiths laugh at them whereas ironically they have their own folktales.

There is no fire anywhere waiting to burn souls found wanting...

For God so loved his only begotten son that he bla bla bla bla..

Christ was only supposedly dead for three days...that surely is not death nor sacrifice.
