I took a new step on studying PowerBi, I realized I've been too comfortable in using Tableau Tool

This is my first completed project on PowerBi using the sample supermarket dataset under 5days of marathon studies.

...This wasn't difficult for me, as I have a lot of knowledge on Tableau, my interest was to get acquainted with the environment or interface.

Base on my experience using the two software.

1. PowerBi is easy and interesting to use, the environment is exciting to navigate even with no experience
2. Calculation field mostly known as DAX is almost same as Ms Excel, Meaning....if u have advance knowledge in using Excel, it won't be problem in using it.
3. Data preprocessing on power query is not far different from what you been using in Excel.
4. Setting up a dashboard and format has been made readily simple if you have no visual or design experience unlike Tableau.
5. (Experience User add yours)

While on Tableau
1. Creating advance chat presence on tableau can be so tedious, sometimes u may forget the process, if you don't documents it.
2. Calculation on Tableau is easier or can be so difficult depending on what you want to achieve.
3. You can create chart that is not possible on PowerBi, very advance chart using mathematics formulas (sometimes I create formulas on Excel and deploy to tableau, to create chart)
4. Ability to manipulate data the way you want
5. Allow you to create your page size.
6. Setting up modern dashboard, you need a little graphic design experience.
7. Advance dashboard design that powerBi user will take years to create.

Finally, the two applications are worth exploring if you have the time.

The aim is to meet business goals, not the designs; you can modify dashboard design to fit the beauty you want after meeting the business goal

I imported the data from SQL adventure works database into Power BI for visualization

It took me a few days to work on it cos I'm quite busy...

Some of the visuals I saw in the report has color alignment problem. Coolor.co is a good place to start
