All memories are invariably bad.

Funny enough, the current sherif in town will be one too and many will wonder why do we keep moving from nowhere to nowhere.

See life, you were the longest serving military head of state, no achievement. You have what it takes to fix Nigeria then. Irony of maladministration

We seriously miss OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ

The rest are calamity
Please remove GEJ from there. Tell me one thing GEJ achieved that we can remember him for. The sale of DISCOS he did(the only thing we would have remembered him for) he didn't do it well, that is why we are having power problems today.

Rubbish!

I'm sure they would have said Nigeria would have been better than Dubai assuming Buhari did not eventually become president undecided

Rubbish from a leader who wasted the opportunity to make our country great like Dubai, UAE that got independence in 1971 when he was military HoS.

Instead of building the country on a solid foundation like South Korean military dictators did, he dashed us Udoji salary awards, telling us money was not a problem but how to spend it.

What a waste of human space.

Please stop commending Jonathan, he was a big failure, tell me one thing he achieved during his tenure. If he has allowed a brilliant northerner to contest against Buhari in 2015 Buhari wouldn't have won that election. But because he was selfish too, he contested, knowing fully well he would not win the election and allowed Buhari to win the election

Jonathan remains the only president who made sure our economy grew with employment even when oil price was crashing from 2013.
The facts are there, showing that he is the best president since 1999, on the economy.
Better by far than loudmouth Baba Iyabo.

Why do you think Obasanjo's daughter replied her father with a stinking bomber when he wrote some useless allegations against Jonathan in 2013, because the incumbent president refused to open the treasury for his fancy Abeokuta Presidential Library

FG, States, LGs Share N568.4 Billion for Oct
15 NOVEMBER 2013

Also, $1billion was proposed for distribution to complement shortfall in expected revenue." The $1billion is a compromise by the FG over its words in September not to augment shortfalls anymore.

Responding to the presentation, the chairman of the States Commissioners of Finance and Ebonyi State Commissioner of Finance, Mr Timothy Odaah, lamented that the statutory allocation was getting smaller and smaller. "It appears this is the worst in terms of returns. This is the least in allocations as far as this year is concerned. We are mourning the dearth of funds and this is a wakeup call for states and local governments to buoy up their internally generated revenue."

While appreciating the "magnanimity" of President Goodluck Jonathan to approve the $1billion from the excess crude account and to be shared among the federal, state and local governments, Odaah expressed disappointment with the returns made by the NNPC.

He said that the states had requested for $2bn to complement for the shortfall in revenue but got only $1billion. In September, Odaah and fellow commissioners had walked out of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) when the federal government said that the framework of the 2013 budget was no longer realistic and it won't augment shortfall in revenue. Odaah raised issues with the statutory allocations of previous months.

FashoFashola to Nigerians: 'If You Want to Have Stable Electricity Supply, Vote PDP Out in 2015'

Jul 11, 2014.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, while marking his 2,600 days in office at an elaborate ceremony held at the Blue Roof of the Lagos Television premises, has said voting out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in next year’s general election is the only way the country can have stable electricity.

According to The Nation, Fashola said electricity crisis in the country is caused by lack of ideas and insincerity of purpose on the part of Federal Government.

"Yes I agree with you that it is possible to generate electricity and to make sure that everybody in this country has electricity, we have to do the right thing. But you know what, the only way that you and I will have electricity in this country will be to vote out the PDP.

” In 16 years hundreds of billions of naira have been spent and we cannot switch on electricity and in seven years we have created four plants. It shows that something is missing. So unless you vote for All Progressive Congress it is going to be difficult to have electricity.

“They started from vision 2020-20 and I told you then that they were having a nightmare, that there was no vision.

“They moved to seven point agenda and now they are transforming.”

Gowon must think that we all have porous brains that leaks.

Are we supposed to forget what YarÁdua did to Obasanjo's legacies in railways, 2nd Niger bridge, refinery privatisation, P&I plus other corruption scandals by his cabal led by Turai? What of Ribadu's EFCC that he rubbished just to protect Ibori who bankrolled the Iwuruwuru INEC election Obasanjo organised to shut out Atiku and Buhari in 2007

24th May, 2010

Ribadu Reinstated As AIG, Retired

The Police Service Commission, PSC, has reinstated the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Malam Nuhu Ribadu as an Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, with effect from 22 December, 2008.

The PSC made the announcement today in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

However, the commission converted Ribadu’s dismissal from the force to retirement.

Ribadu, who was promoted AIG during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo was demoted from that rank to Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, in November, 2007, after he was removed as EFCC chairman in 2007 and sent on a course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Jos.

About two weeks ago, Ribadu’s name was struck off the security watch list. This was after the Code of Conduct Tribunal dropped charges against him.

Ribadu, who has been on self exile in the United States of America following alleged threats to his life, was declared wanted by the police last year after he failed to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.

The Justice Constance Momoh-led three-man panel issued a bench warrant against Ribadu for failing to honour its invitation.

The former EFCC boss was accused of not declaring his asset as required of a public servant while in office.

EFCC, now headed by Farida Waziri, also accused him of fraudulently benefiting from the sale of properties seized from convicted felons such as former governor of Bayelsa State, Alamieyeseigha, former Inspector-General of Police, Tafa Balogun, 419 kingpin, Emmanuel Nwude and others.

Ribadu denied the allegation, saying he was not involved in the sale of the seized properties.

Which country in the world is not an amalgamation of broken units? 😂

Namaster:
Tale as old as prostitution. Die and become a saint.

Nigeria is an amalgamation of broken pieces that don't fit together.

Yaradua could have been the FOREVER president of Nigeria and it'd still be the same shithole it is today.

Would Yaradua have remained on the seat till date?
No, but his blue prints would have set Nigeria on a good and laudable pedestrian princint economically, socially, security-wisely and in all other ramifications of government in this country. His demise was a very painful exit.
Unfortunately, Jonathan that was supposed to follow his master's good and sincere governance did otherwise and was even weak when he needed strength. May Almighty God hear the weeping of the poor masses and grant them their desires 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
