In the early colonial days the British invaded the Nigeria territory with sole aim of conquering all this sovereign states and taking over the natural minerals of different communities, they perfected this act by getting the Obas,kings , Emirs , making warrant chiefs using these leaders to loot things collect taxes and aid slave trade but in all this one Oba of BENIN stood his ground and resisted the British invasion it's a very tough fight he had to fight but he was later exiled to Calabar with his wives , where he lived and died .
