I ask because you hear people say they are looking for a truthful, honest lover but we all are human and we lie, cheat and all that stuff, so I began to wonder if I should just look for a good liar (if that makes any sense).

So she's there driving herself insane, going from doctor to doctor, thinking something's wrong with her and he's chilling waiting for it to play out. Seems pretty mean. I think for somewhat irrelevant stuff like where you were last night, you can do that and have no major consequences when the truth, that you spent all night at my place instead of spending it with her, comes out.

lie , secret n love shouldn't even b in the same sentence sef cox i believe that when u love someone dearly u should b bold enough to open up to the person if the person likes u equally enough then he/she  will b less judgmental cox eventually depending, the truth will always come out. then it will b how can u say u love me and still dnt trust/love me enough to tell me ur secrets?

I can't stand people that lie to me at all. I find it a lot of fun though when I discover that he was lying to me during the relationship AFTER we have broken up.
For me, it's a relief to know that my instincts were very right.

I was going to say that too   but what could he be hiding to spare my feelings?
That he cheated on me with some girl? If I find that out, i will raise hell with him.
That he lied about something before we started dating? I will kill him.
I would rather a man be a man and step up. If you're going to do something wrong like getting drunk and waking up on some other girl, you might as well be a man and bear the consequences. If he was scared of losing me, he would tell me before I find out because NOTHING is hidden on this earth. Somehow, lies come back to haunt you most times.
